“Truly breathtaking”! That was my initial comment upon seeing such a superb collection of porcelain dolls. This high quality and attention to detail is not easy to find in the SE Asia region. Manufactured and retailed by My GallerAsia’s associate Khun Youthana, he and his family have been producing these splendid figures for the past 56 years. Undoubtedly the premiere doll maker in Thailand , most probably the whole region.
Khun Youthana, and his Father before him, has researched traditional & whimsical costumes from various periods, virtually all over Asia and Europe . Naturally, this company has flourished with repeat buyers, the odd passer by, collectors/enthusiasts and business men & women from across the globe. However, they don’t possess a website and are therefore hindered in reaching the size audience to do themselves justice. My GallerAsia is proud to be able to help in this area and delighted at the opportunity to be involved with such beautiful collectibles.
Ranging from 65mm to approximately 1.2metres in height, these dolls really are as exquisite as they appear to be in the product list images. All hand-made by his modest production staff of around 20 and presented in his new ‘ Laos heritage’ style showroom. It really is My GallerAsia’s pleasure to be able to share there existence with a world audience.

From concept to completion, each doll takes between 15 & 20 days to produce. Khun Youthana’s enthusiasm for his collection ensures constant development of new dolls and costumes. Along with seasonal specials, he is currently working on a ‘Periods of Siam’ collection. Some time ago, we discussed this concept as the ‘ Siam ’ region offers such diversity in costume designs over the centuries and has a wealth of History attached to each. Though the ‘ Siam ’ dolls he has produced before are of exceptional quality & design, they are still of a similar theme to those sold by others - Hill-tribes and the ‘Chakri’ Dynasty warring Kings. We will not only be including a numbered authenticity label with each doll purchased, but for the ‘Historical’ pieces, we will include a brief story of the costumes’ origin and any other information we see relevant & of interest to the collector.
