The Ground Work

Though I’m hardly the pioneer of this concept, I do consider My GallerAsia to be somewhat special. I seek out ‘unusual’ items and befriend the manufacturers. Going the extra mile to make sure that the people I’m dealing with are manufacturers and in full ownership of their business, not an acting medium. Also providing some insight into the materials used and the production procedures. I truly believe that the term ‘UNUSUAL’ can only really be qualified, if one knows something more about the item than simply its aesthetic appearance.

All of the above mentioned points are what sets My GallerAsia aside from some others.

Throughout this Brochure/Web-site you’ll be able to read about the process the materials go through – pre-production, some organic facts, preventative measures undertaken to protect against infestation and some insight into most of the cottage industries My GallerAsia is associated with.

I consider it important to mention that none of these associated businesses are subject to any form of ‘fee’ for My GallerAsia’s marketing efforts. Thus, My GallerAsia is not actually ‘promoting’ the companies themselves, only their hand-made products. This is an agreement satisfactory to us all. These associates also believe in providing the best possible quality, price and service in return for sales of their products.

I’ve instilled a lot of time, effort and expense in researching the more ‘unusual’ items and believe in bringing those to you, not the ‘run of the mill’ tourist souvenirs. They can be obtained from a number of other outlets, not least wholesalers in your own area. I’m referring to QUALITY (relative to the item and its origin), ORIGINALITY (be it of culture or religion etc…) and VALUE (the best value for all concerned).

So without further ado, I now invite you to browse through the subsequent pages and see for yourself, the fabulous array of My GallerAsia’s ‘UNUSUAL’ ETHNIC ARTS & CRAFTS. For further information, enquiries and disclaimers, please view the ‘Disclaimers & Further Information’ page(s).
